George D. Leasure
President
Building exceeds theory to George Leasure. With 33 years of experience, George has rolled up his sleeves in nearly every facet of the construction industry.
After obtaining an Architectural Engineering degree at Penn State University, George worked as a project engineer for five years before shifting to a design-build construction firm. In 1982, Nello Construction's founder, Guilio Torriero, discovered George. They established an immediate bond in which Giulio served as both employer and mentor. George had an admiration for Giulio's work ethic, good heartedness and professionalism.
In his initial roles at Nello Construction, George worked as an estimator and project manager before being promoted into management. As president of Nello Construction, George's experience facilitates the ability to interface with all levels of management and labor.
George possesses an unyielding interest to improve the project delivery process. Emphasizing communication, our clients describe him as being straightforward and engaged with details. George's approach has allowed Nello Construction to expand its construction volume and successfully manage over 100 educational projects during his leadership.
George is a member of two Master Builders' Association committees including the AIA/MBA Joint Committee and the Cement Masons Labor/Management Committee. He has served as a supervisor for North Franklin Township, North Franklin Township Planning Commission, North Franklin Township Sanitary Authority and the Washington Alliance Church Governing Board and Building Committee.

Gino M. Torriero
Executive Vice President
As the son of Nello Construction's founder Giulio Torriero, Gino Torriero inherited a childhood enriched with weekly office visits and teaching of project site details. Gino first worked for Nello Construction in high school, handling filing, copying drawings and delivering bids.
Furthering his knowledge through the Building Construction Program at Virginia Tech University, Gino's interest in construction became passion. Upon graduation, Gino returned to Nello Construction and developed experience in estimating, project scheduling and pre-construction services. Today, Gino provides expertise in value engineering, scheduling and conceptual estimates.
Gino's enthusiasm for trying new restaurants around Pittsburgh led him to own and operate an Italian franchise from 2004 to 2006. His wife, Mali, has an architectural degree and both have a mutual interest in green building concepts, which are implemented into their home.
To date, Gino has managed over 1 billion in estimates and preconstruction services. His direction of major projects include five Home Depot locations, Ethan Allen Furniture, Three Rivers Volkswagen, South Hills Bible Chapel, Peters Township Community Center and various office fit-outs for Comcast.
Gino is currently a member of the Master Builders' Association Young Constructors Committee, as well as an associate member of AIA Pittsburgh and has served on the building committee of South Hills Bible Chapel.
