As the President and CEO at Nello, Gino is responsible for the overall direction and operations of Nello Construction. Gino is directly responsible for financial oversight, executive project management, bonding, and contracts. He serves the firm’s valued clients to ensure projects meet their expectations.
Executive Vice President
As the Executive Vice President & General Counsel of Nello Construction, Dean oversees administrative, legal, risk management, business development, and human resource matters. Dean has advised contractors and corporations on legal matters for over 15 years. He enjoys analyzing and solving problems to help Nello better service its clients. Dean is a licensed General Contractor in West Virginia and a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
Senior Project Advisor
George has spent his entire career in the construction industry, and for over 2 decades, he served as Nello’s President – guiding Nello through years of growth and productivity. As Senior Project Advisor, George now uses his years of success and experience to advise Nello on all areas of project completion and customer service.
As Nello Construction’s Chief Estimator, Marty utilizes his thirty-five years of estimating experience to provide planning, coordinating, and supervision of the functions of the estimating department. He is also the prime contact for providing conceptual and hard bid estimating for projects up to $30M. In addition to his estimating tasks, Marty also assists in design-build presentations to clients and helps our Project Management team with pricing of change orders and value engineering.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Stein has more than (30) years experience in the construction industry. He has managed in excess of 500 million dollars’ worth of commercial construction with numerous single contracts exceeding 20 million dollars. Mr. Stein has extensive experience with renovation projects to convert and refurbish vacant structures into useable retail lease space.
Tom Laird has been with the Nello Construction team since 2017. He is a results oriented, hands on developed professional. He has a verifiable track record for the successful completion of multi-million dollar projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local officials, vendors, and clients while maintaining costs.
Tom is versed in contract negotiations, project estimating, document preparation, building code and regulations, material purchasing, and site management through certification of occupancy.
ERIC SMITH, PMP
In his 10 years as a Project Manager, Eric has managed projects ranging from $5,000 to $40 million. His experience includes renovations, build-outs, and ground-up construction in multi-family, restaurants, and retail. He is focused on creating and maintaining excellent client relationships and refining processes to improve cost, schedule, and quality.
As the Controller at Nello, Stephanie is responsible for taking care of day-to-day accounting tasks. When she first started at Nello in 2012, she was hired as a Contract Administrator. She is grateful for the opportunity Nello has given her to grow and advance her career. One of her personal goals is to visit Scotland, experience the culture and see all of the beautiful architecture. In the warmer months, you may find her on the golf course with her golf league.
In her role as Executive Assistant at Nello, Kayla provides a wide range of support to the Construction, Financial, and Adminstrative teams at Nello. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Michelle works with Nello’s Construction, Business Development, and Legal Teams providing a wide range of support. She directly supports the Construction side by working closely with Project Managers in assuring that projects are completed in a timely and quality manner, including chairing Nello’s safety committee. She also assists with bid preparation and developing new client relationships.
